Buchang Pharmaceuticals, established on August. 28th 1993, is a modern and hi-tech non-public enterprise focusing on researching, producing and distributing medicines, health care and education in China. With the headquarters in ancient Chinese capital Xi’an, Buchang Pharmaceuticals has set up professional research centers in Beijing and Shanghai as well as many branches all over China. After 18 years development, the company now has 10 pharmaceutical manufactures, 10 business departments, 2 hospitals, 1 college.              

In the past 18 years, Buchang Pharmaceticals paid much attention to science and technology research and insisted on the principal of self-innovation. The main products, Buchang Naoxintong capsule,  has won the golden medal  on the 42nd World Invention Exhibition in Brussels of Belgium and the first chosen brand to customers in China’s domestic medicine market and Wenxin Granule is a sole product of Chinese herb medicine to treat coronary heart disease and arrhythmia.                                                                                                                  

With 10 departments and more than 10 thousand of professional salesmen cross-covered 15 thousand of hospitals and 130 thousand of drug stores, Buchang Pharma has built up a complete market network in China, and is in the rapidly and steadily developing stage. What’s more, the annual turnover was RMB 3.6 billion in 2008, 5.2 billion in 2009 and to be 6.5 billion in 2010.                                      

With the mission of service for human health, Buchang Pharmaceuticals also pay much attention to public welfare. In 2009, the establishment of Foundation of Co-foster China Heart helped  60 children suffering from congenital heart disease to accept surgery in Bejing, and from the foundation, Buchang Pharma took out 5 million  to donated to Yushu where a strong earthquake happened in April 2010.

For the value Buchang created to the state in the past years and outstanding contribution Buchang serviced to the public,  Professor Zhao Buchang, and the president of Buchang Pharmaceuticals, Doctor Zhao Chao, were selected as members of NPC for consecutive years and received by state central leaders.
