Shaanxi Institute of International Trade & Commerce invested and established by Buchang Group in 1997, is a non-government college approved by the Ministry Of Education Of PRC. It owns a total campus area of 533,000m2 and a total floorage of 200,000 m2. With property of over 500 million, it currently has 91 laboratories, 28 multi-media classroom, 31 training bases, and 910 thousand books in the library.

Owning 12,000 students and 690 staff, the institute has 5 colleges (the College of Business, the College of Medicine, the College of Technology, the College of Art & Communication and the College of International) with 38 programs in the field of economics, management, medicine, engineering, science, law, education and literature.

In June 2007, the institute passed successfully the Evaluation for Cultivating Intelligence launched by the Ministry Of Education; and it updated to undergraduate college in May 2008.

Currently, the institute is trying to specialize in pharmacy, logistic management, costume designing, financial accounting and so on.

Since its founding in 1997, the University has persisted in scientific and innovative reform of educational concepts, models and methods, and turned out in total tens and thousands of graduates favored by various social sectors. The successive high employment rate and admirable employment quality of its graduates have led to a successive admission of more and better-quality students into the University over the past years.
